THE TIMELINE
From Los Angeles to the world — every chapter defined by bold moves and creative vision.

FROM L.A. TO THE WORLD
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Michael traveled extensively through Europe before settling for a time in Sweden. He then made his way to Toronto where he attended York University to study philosophy in preparation for a law degree. His legal aspirations would soon take a back seat, as Michael's entrepreneurial spirit took hold — and the world became his classroom.

STYLE & BEYOND
Michael conceived and co-founded The Baffi Collection, a men's accessory brand best known for inventing stylish wooden pocket squares crafted by artisans in Ontario. The brand grew to include a men's luxury accessories boutique in the prestigious Fairmont Hotel, Toronto. It was the beginning of a pattern — Michael doesn't just enter industries, he reinvents them.

CULINARY PASSION
During his time as a stylish and outspoken contestant on MasterChef Canada, Michael's culinary skills and creative talents were on full display. It was his love of cooking and inherent desire to innovate that would lead him to create The Ultimate Cutting Board, a prep station handmade in Canada that was hailed as a godsend for the home cook.

IN HIGH SPIRITS
In 2016, he turned his attention to the spirits industry, becoming a shareholder in Rabbit Hole Spirits, a bourbon distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. As the Chief Marketing Officer and the company's first-ever hire, Michael's unrelenting drive and ability to think outside the box were instrumental in growing the brand. In just a few years, Rabbit Hole became one of the fastest-growing bourbon brands in the world, attracting the likes of Pernod Ricard.

EAT, TRAVEL, LOVE
Now travelling the world with his wife and daughter, Michael documents every day — from strange foods to mesmerizing moments. With his audience and views growing steadily, now with over 50M+ views across all channels, TikTok is his most active community. He set his sights on much bigger projects, chief amongst them Genevieve Hotel — the first location of Bunkhouse Hotels in Louisville.
